History: Korakia

Here's the history of Korakia (Desertadraco coracios), the black and red desert dragon. This is a special fella because he hasn't changed a bit during the years! Only the dorsal fin is different now compared to the early pictures.

Some explanations:

1.
2001: The first pictures of this species were drawn this year. This drawing here was originally male's face in black and white, but later it was colored as a female.

2.
2002: A furious roar. This was drawn on a notebook and I had to adjust brightness and contrast to fade the grid away. I still like this drawing; the jaws and teeth are just perfect.

3., 4. & 5.
2003: This was the year when I drew a lot. Nevertheless, I drew way too long limbs and too small heads to all my dragons. Korakia was no exception. No. 5 is the first colored picture.

6. & 7.
2004: 6: Running, little shading done with pencil. 7: Skeleton.

8.
2010: The brand new picture.
